Greetings Goddesses and Sons, lovers, brothers of these divine beings!


For those of you who do not know me I am Majadi Baruti the creator of this ning site, Founder of Udja Temple Ministries and the host of The Roof Garden on blogtalkradio.com. I am please that so many have joined us here on this site! Udja Temple Ministries and Udja Temple is the culmination of a life long study of Afrikan History and Spirituality, I shall not bore you with details but at the end of this brief note I will post the Roof Garden program wherein I told my story! So many of you are here searching for the most high, a number of you acknowledge HER in your life as you radiate HER warmth and power! Afrikan Goddess/Woman is so much to me that with all the poetic verse I could muster I would be lacking in the verbage to explain my love for HER! I am only a man, but as such I am the son of my Cosmic Mother, the lover of HER soul. I am only a man yet I will open my mouth to speak HER name in the valley, on the mountain, if need be under the ocean. I do not fear what some may say as this would be irrelevant, they will keep talking. I understand clearly that this is a dangerous work one that counteracts Global White Supremacy and the Patriarchy at the same time! I am one who revels in excitement of this sort however particularly when the cause is righteous. Simply put in all of my 20+ years of study and research of activism and protest, I have come to two conclusions.

* Everthing started in Afrika
* Everthing started with a Woman


These conclusions eventually lead me to other study which ended up with the same conclusions. A study of theological and spiritual concepts of the humans of Afrika you will again find HER at the root. Logically then Afrikan Woman is Goddess, Afrikan Goddess is Woman and there are none higher. This leads to another conclusion, because it is they who will train the next generation of warriors, scholars, priestesses, prophets , healers, geniuses, builders, engineers, mathematicians, revolutionaries, gun toters and knife wielders we can say;

* The War on Afrikan People has never been about the man as much as his Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Lover, Wife and Daughters!!! It is woman who does these things thus my focus for life will be on HER as Goddess, Cosmic Mother!

I am now asking something of you, learn of HER and HER awesome power! Brothers many of you have not responded to blogs, to posts or the show, I pray you did not think this a dating site??? Same thing sisters, this is a holy place online that you can learn to manifest who you naturally are...GODDESS. What I shall do next is present you with our Mission Statement I ask that you peruse this and ask questions if need be. This is no mere accolades of Afrikan Women because they are aesthetically pleasing but an actual worship of her Divine Grace. Soon we will have a membership application if you wish to join our congregation, don't worry we are not as tight shirt oriented and doctrinal based as what you might think. We have no percieved doctrine as such other than a few Statements of Belief that I will post later. We also have intention on setting into existence a physical "Temple" here in Charlotte, NC. These moves are coming faster than I could expect but the work is a glorious one, considering it is done in HER name!!! Udja Temple Ministries is committed to the spiritual liberation of African people through the worship of the African Goddess. It is our belief that the African Goddess is the Original Womb and Creator of the universe and all things within. Our efforts are to bring the worship, reverence and faith in the Great Mother, the African Woman, to all African people thus bringing life, peace and happiness to the African Family. It is through our worship of HER the African Woman/African Goddess that African people can be saved from oppression, self-denigration, poverty and despair. Udja Temple Ministries seeks to re-establish our most ancient belief in the Matriarchy and our acceptance of Goddess amongst people of Africa and the African Diasporas.
