Has this world gone sex crazy in 2009?

This week on the Brother Marcus Internet Radio Show we will address part one of our series on what is commonly known as the Seven Deadly Sins. We want to take a look at lust this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. E.S.T. Lust is defined as having an intense, unbridled and voracious sexual desire or appetite. How and even more importantly why is the television, movie and radio media promoting a concupiscent expression of our collective natures? Are people more lust-filled nowadays? Are people finding it more difficult to maintain self control and difficult to discipline themselves? Who benefits and who loses when the people of the community are functioning off such a low, cheap level of existence? Was Clarence Carter, Clarence Carter, Clarence Carter a prophetic voice among the people when he suggested on one of songs that the people in 2009 would be, “Too weak to fight?”

I wished that I could have been apart of that forum. I have a intense interest in sex and sexual energy, however I respect that serpentine energy. It is powerful and healing but like all things with out balance it can be dangerous. I do believe that society (however you wish to define it) is sex craved. But I think in my humble opinion that is because society choose not to see, for the most part, that sex is a sacred act. Meaning that it is a connection to spirit but also has it physical (animalistic nature) which is drive in most part by ego. Due programs and not understanding the sexual energy in conjunction with the lack of understanding is what is creating this "Lust". And that anything is wrong with that because it simple is. People choose their own path. A mass of people are taught in most Religions that is something to be ashamed of if done outside of marriage. Anytime that you suppress (desire, lust, wanting, "SEX") it will express itself. What we are seeing in today's society is the suppression of sex balancing itself in the expression?
